Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.

Some processing is necessary to complete a transaction or request you have voluntarily initiated, comply with law, protect systems/fraud interests, establish or defend legal claims, or for another use permitted by Applicable Law. Withdrawing optional marketing consent does not prevent TT from sending necessary Order, security, legal or service communications.

Measurements, fitting notes, alteration instructions and style preferences are used to perform the commissioned service and should be collected only to the extent reasonably required. TT should not request health or other sensitive personal information unless genuinely necessary for the requested service and lawfully handled. Customers should avoid sending unnecessary identity documents or unrelated personal information through open chat channels.

Promotional email, SMS, WhatsApp or similar marketing will be sent in accordance with applicable consent and communication rules. You may opt out using the unsubscribe/stop instruction in the message or by contacting us. Browser settings may allow you to block/delete cookies, but doing so may impair some functions.

9. Payments and card information

Payments are ordinarily processed by authorized payment service providers. TT should not store full card credentials unless the specific payment architecture, disclosure and Applicable Law permit it. TT may receive limited payment status, token/reference, issuer/bank response, transaction and fraud-screening information needed to complete, refund or investigate the transaction.

10. Pre-dispatch QC photographs and video

TT may create order-specific photographs/video immediately before dispatch showing the product, tags, key measurements/customizations, components, condition, packaging and sealing. These records are used for quality control, fraud prevention, complaint investigation and dispute resolution. Recording should be proportionate, linked to the Order ID, access-controlled and deleted in accordance with TT's approved retention schedule unless a complaint, chargeback, legal hold or proceeding requires longer preservation.

Such processing will be subject to restrictions or requirements imposed by Indian law from time to time and to appropriate contractual, technical and organizational safeguards. Service-provider locations may change as systems evolve, subject to Applicable Law.

13. Data retention

TT retains personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, product-quality, complaint, chargeback, warranty, legal-claim or regulatory requirements. Retention periods differ by category. Data that is no longer required will be deleted, anonymized or securely disposed of under TT's approved retention schedule, subject to legal holds and mandatory retention obligations.

No internet or storage system can be guaranteed absolutely secure, and this Policy does not create an absolute security warranty.

15. Personal data incidents

TT maintains an incident-response process to investigate and contain suspected personal data breaches, preserve relevant evidence, remediate causes and make notifications to affected individuals and/or authorities where and when required by Applicable Law. Employees and service providers must promptly escalate suspected incidents to the designated privacy/security function.

16. Your choices and rights

Subject to Applicable Law and verification, you may be entitled to request information about processing; correction, completion or updating of personal data; erasure where retention is no longer lawful or necessary; withdrawal of consent; grievance redressal; nomination of another person to exercise rights in circumstances permitted by law; and other rights that become applicable under Indian data-protection law.

An erasure request does not require TT to delete records that it must or is lawfully entitled to retain for transaction completion, tax/accounting, fraud prevention, chargebacks, legal claims, consumer complaints or other legal obligations. Where appropriate, access to retained records will be restricted.

17. How to exercise privacy rights

Send a request from your registered email to info@taruntahiliani.com; and identify the account/Order concerned. TT may ask for reasonable information to verify identity and authority. Where processing of a child's personal data requires parental/guardian consent or other safeguards under Applicable Law, TT will implement those safeguards before undertaking the relevant processing. Parents/guardians may contact us if they believe a child has supplied data inappropriately.

19. Automated tools and personalization

TT may use rules-based or analytics tools to detect fraud, rank support priorities, personalize Website content or measure campaign performance. TT should not make a legally significant decision solely through automated processing where Applicable Law requires human review or other safeguards. Material fraud/cancellation decisions should remain reviewable through Customer Care/Grievance channels.

20. Third-party websites and social platforms

Links to independent third-party websites or social platforms are provided for convenience. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. TT is responsible for its own processing and for processors to the extent Applicable Law makes TT responsible; it does not control an unrelated third party's independent website.
